Iv Therapy was first introduced by Dr Meyers to treat alcohol hangover but was quickly recognized as a healthy way to infuse nutrients into the body through the bloodstream instead of the digestive track.
Vitamins and Minerals all need to be brought into the cell to be used efficiently, but some nutrients will fight each other for cell surface if taken at the same time, this can be problematic when taking supplements by mouth, meaning you may get less of one or the other, So its important to know which vitamins
can be taken together and which ones need time apart.
Our Iv's have specific natural ingredients that help to increase the absorption of the nutrients that compete for absorption, eliminating that competition.
Most people are unaware of the facts involved in taking Vitamins. The absorption of vitamins and minerals is a complicated process that involves many factors that can enhance or inhibit the availability of that nutrient to be absorbed. Thereby resulting in undetected deficiencies until symptoms become apparent which can sometimes lead to serious and possibly irreversible long term health issues
In our clinic we can provide Iv Infusions to adults 16 years and older. However some deficiencies do occur in children and can be administered with the signed consent of a parent 21 and older or with a Doctors order.
Our Infusions are all natural and very safe, after all we need vitamins and minerals daily regardless of how we get them.
Our Infusions simply restore those nutrients that you are deficient in.
The health of todays population isn't what it used to be. More additives, medications and serious diseases are being introduced into our bodies that can potentially inhibit how much of your vitamins you are actually getting. Due to the condition of most peoples digestive tracts its difficult to absorb all the nutrients that are consumed (through your mouth and down your esophagus to your stomach). So most of the pills that you take by mouth are unable to be broken apart and repackaged for absorption, thereby leaving them unabsorbed and flushed back out of the body. Nutritional Infusion is the process where the nutrients are introduced into the body through a tiny IV that is placed in your arm and allowed to flow into your blood stream where almost 100% of that nutrient will be absorbed and used efficiently. This process is both safe and non invasive.
Here's the joy of having a Nutritional Infusion vs taking pills. Iv infusions give you most or all of the nutrition that your body needs in one 45 minute visit so instead of taking pills every day you can have an Infusion once a month. So no more figuring out what pills to take, how many to take and when to take them. Have you actually sat down and calculated the cost of all your Vitamins?
You may be surprised at what your spending!
Most people would benefit from one infusion per month or every other month depending on how long your body needs to maintain balance, however, some may need a second infusion each month for the first 1-3 months before achieving the level of wellness they require. Special Pricing for Package options are available.
When you call in, one of our trained nurses will discuss your current situation and if required she can provide a blood requisition directly to Life Labs on your behalf, if you are comfortable with having blood work done then you can go into Life Labs at your leisure and have your blood drawn (walk In option) or, you can make an appointment ahead. However, Blood work is not required and will be decided during your conversation with our consult nurse during the telephone call. An appointment will be scheduled for you to attend our office and assess your eligibility for an Infusion. Most people are perfectly fine to just come in, have an assessment done and receive an infusion the same day.
We require a different set of blood tests that reflect your nutritional status, which are different than what basic medical blood tests can reveal and we use this data to confirm if there is an obvious deficiency or possibly to identify if there is a marker indicating a condition that may prevent us from giving the infusion.
Once you arrive at our office you will be required to complete a basic information sheet that includes any current health conditions you are aware of or are currently being treated for as well as your basic information. Once completed, the nurse will escort you into the assessment room where a more detailed review of your physical health is done; vital signs are taken and medication and health questions are discussed.
After you have completed all your paperwork and the assessments have proven eligibility for infusion, the nurse will bring you into our infusion room and start your IV (a tiny needle is inserted into your arm or hand) and the infusion starts, sit back and relax. (Most people qualify for an Iv)
During your infusion our staff will make sure you are comfortable by offering warm blankets and hot or cold beverages to drink. You can sit back and watch Tv, use your phone or tablet using our WIFI or just relax and enjoy in our comfy recliners. (some people even nap!)
The nurse will do vital sign readings before, during and after your infusion.
Once your infusion is done (about 35-50 minutes) the nurse will simply remove the iv (which does not hurt) and places a bandaid over the insertion site. We like you to stay in your chair for 5-10 minutes for observation to make sure your comfortable before you leave. We hope that you leave feeling better than when you came in and that you will share the news with family and friends.
There's so much more to our clinic.
If someone is not eligible to have an infusion it's usually because we have identified a condition during our consultation that needs to be assessed by your doctor. We can email an information package directly to him/her for review. Once approved he will provide us with an order, which would be required to administer the infusion and we will be happy to book you back in.

Iv therapy is a Pro and a Con when it comes to individuals undergoing Chemo or Radiation treatments. On one hand increasing the immunity strength of your body through high doses of Vitamin C, as well as other nutrients that impact the bodies ability to fight illness seems like the most beneficial path, however due to the nature of what Chemo does, it not only kills fast-growing cancer cells, but also kills or slows the growth of healthy cells that grow and divide quickly, which are critical to a healthy immune system. Therefore nutritional supplementation can actually complicate the chemo process in some cases.
Yes, when you are done your session and waiting the six weeks between treatments you can be considered for nutritional Iv therapy, this of course would require conversations with both your Md and your Oncologist as well an order for us to proceed.
It is best to contact us directly and we can discuss your options and provide guidance through the process.
